We are next door to the Community garden space, of which there is a free Little Library out front. We are several blocks from Tower Grove Park, the neighborhood's 289 acre gem that holds countless events throughout the year. Although St. Louis metro area is generally easier to enjoy by car, staying here puts you steps away from the bus stop at Morganford and Connecticut, which offers easy transfer to the Metro Rail at Grand Center, which connects with Amtrak and St. Louis Lambert Airport. Ridesharing (Uber, Lyft) and taxi services are also available. There is street parking in front of the house, as well as a dedicated parking pad for 2 cars in the back (alley access) if you are bringing or renting a car. *** IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ *** There are approximately 6 steps up from the sidewalk to the main floor. Watch out for the step halfway between the sidewalk and the main steps. For those who have decreased mobility, the master suite is located on the main floor. As of 9/24/24 the pool is closed. Located close to Scott Air Force Base and STL. Home is on 5 acres and has plenty of privacy. Beds are memory foam mattresses. Heated pool (Mid-May - Mid-September). Pet friendly (dog/cat) & have 1 XL kennel and 1 small pet carrier we can set up. Our home has a large circle drive that goes behind the barn. There is more than enough room for Handicap parking, the gate and sidewalk to the main patio are 48 inches wide. We have a handicap shower seat as well.
