Outdoor living area with BBQ over looking a natural spring and native bush land. World renowned sports fishing, Bay of Fires, Binalong Bay all just 2 hour drive from Launceston.

Spot whales and dolphins passing by and sleep well with our Times Square mattresses surrounded by beautiful art. A fully appointed kitchen inc oven & cooktops & BBQ on the deck overlooking the ocean. A la carte french style Breakfast is served in the barn ~ 200m from your villa.

The Bay of Fires Bush Retreat is set amongst a beautiful bush setting, close to the stunning Bay of Fires beaches, and only 2.5km from the Binalong Bay township, and 8km from St Helens. The Bush Retreat has a fully equipped kitchen ready for guests to use at their leisure, or for those who would prefer to take a more relaxed option, we have our Platter Bar and pre-prepared meals made by our in-house chefs, as well as our Bush Retreat Breakfast $25pp that can be pre-booked prior to arrival.

Bay View sits above the road looking across George’s Bay. The shack is a sun filled space with two living areas. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The bathroom is newly renovated. Outside has private views to the bay. An outdoor cabana, pizza oven, firepit and bbq area make an ideal space to enjoy an evening meal. The town is a short 5 minute drive, or a lovely 30 minute walk along the bay. Surf beaches, dive spots, MTB tracks and National Parks are all within close proximity.

Our family have been enjoying holidays at the shack for over thirty years. Enjoy spacious living areas, stylish decor, water views and our private, bird-filled native gardens. Relax in the new outdoor bath or explore the bush track winding down to a secluded bayside beach. Not another shack in sight. Beer Barrel Beach, the Maurouard surf & Peron Dunes await at St Helens Point 8 minutes drive away as are the Mountain Bike tracks. Time to recharge and relax on the Bay of Fires coast.

The beach house faces north to get all day sun and is very sheltered, there are two decks to sit and enjoy the sunshine and a refreshing drink

The Surveyor's Cottage - Heritage and an open fire

This cottage is one of the earliest buildings on the east coast of Tasmania, being built in around 1832. Recently restored, The Surveyors Cottage has an instant appeal with its high ceilings and beautiful light from the Georgian windows. The open fire is the star attraction - so warm and welcoming.
