My husband Calvin and i live in Madisonville on 2 acres ...since the kids are gone we have 2 spare Bedrooms in our home to offer for our guests We created a great relaxing front yard with Koi fish ponds Bird feeders Flowerbeds and a nice front deck to overlook and hear the splash of water from the fountains while you can have a nice Breakfast with fresh Yard eggs ....yes we have our very own chickens too! The drive to downtown New Orleans is about 45 minutes to an hour depending traffic!

Look no further! This quaint BnB is the perfect destination for your stay in the charming town of Madisonville, LA. Located just 45 minutes away from New Orleans and one block off of the beautiful Tchefuncte riverfront, you can walk to nearby restaurants and coffee shops, retail stores, boating, festivals and more. This guest suite is located on the back side of our main house, but guests will enjoy complete privacy equipped with their own separate entrance. Come relax at "Blue Dog BnB" :)

Myrtle Cottage is a private guesthouse on 40 acres featuring lovely gardens, abound with local trees such as Live Oaks, Magnolia's, Pines and vintage Beech Trees and stocked pond. Wooded trails lead to the bluffs giving access to a picturesque white sandy beach on the Little Tchefuncte River. A paradise for bird watchers and enthusiasts of local wild life. Room features a luxurious king bed with antique armoire and a large bathroom with shower and jet tub. Ice maker, refrigerator, micro wave, toaster available. Our guest may use the Library/music room. For those musically incline we have a double base, baby grand piano, guitar, bongos. Access to Hulu/Netflix TV, digital cable, free high-speed wifi. Room features a semi-private balcony and stair entrance and off street gated parking (One car per room).

Jackson Manor one room & private bathroom

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. It's close to New Orleans, but without the touristy prices. There are two couches, a loveseat, futon, some chairs, a furnished bedroom (full bed), and multiple tables. Have two full bookshelves (for your use), fun board games (connect 4, trivia, mancala, uno), a ukelele, a xylophone, WiFi, DVDs-movies, Netflix, Amazon, HBO, and Roku TV. Security cameras as well.

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. This bird nest is up between two oak trees overlooking a beautiful pond. You can enjoy the sun rise and the moon rise from either the upper deck or out by the fire pit. Tucked away on several acres the Bird Nest feels wonderful surrounded by nature.
