Wood Cottage is a very calm, tranquil get away for you to unwind, relax, and enjoy the surroundings in it's own private grounds with its own lakes, woodland walk and ever growing wild life ,barn owl ,fish to enjoy. Whether you love soaking in the hot tub or sauna on the terrace in the perfect calming setting to take you to a different level of chill or a nice evening cooking and then getting cosy infront of the log burner fire. With in a few miles there are country pubs for food and drinking.

Alton Towers theme park is half an hour away. A fully equipped kitchen, dining table and chairs for 10 people, large sitting room with log burner and bifold doors out to a private garden. Dove Cottage is a former Victorian fishing lodge in a unique setting on the banks of the river Dove. It is situated 3/4 mile from the pretty village of Alstonefield and 5 1/2 miles north of the bustling market town of Ashbourne. The cottage overlooks a tranquil stretch of river running through Wolfscote Dale and a historic former water mill. A riverside footpath passes the bottom of the garden leading north along the river to Hartington and south to Dovedale and the Stepping Stones.
