The location offers a perfect base for exploring the Peak District with a wide choice of walks or cycle routes from the door. Access to the Monsal Trail is just a 10 minutes walk away, and the villages of Litton and Tideswell are also easily accessible by foot.

Our luxury Shepherd hut is brand new for 2023 and is nestled in its own private walled garden. It once belonged to the Swythamley Hall estate, where they grew fruit and vegetables for the people of the beautiful, impressive hall. Sit back and relax in your very own garden which is approximately 1 arce! You are surrounded by a private wall, woodland and nature. Sit with a glass of wine or a cooled beer and take in the breath taking views of the rolling fields, trees, animals and the roaches.

The Shepherds Hut is a happy place, a quiet rural retreat. It is nestled in our secret garden on our small holding which is a stones throw from a local RSPB nature reserve and woodland. It has all you need for a relaxing break including lovely views, wood burning stove, WC, mini kitchen including a Belfast sink, table and chairs and a comfy bed area and even an electric supply. In order to not make the Shepherd's Hut too cramped we have a separate utilities hut just a few feet away.

Fitted out to the highest quality, featuring a king sized bed, comfy sofa, kitchen, log burner and smart TV, etc. Something quite special, situated in its own secluded area, a few steps away from the magnificent views of Chrome hill and the Dove valley beyond.
