The Bird's Nest - Cabin by the River

Located on one of the Seven Bends of the Shenandoah River, the Bird’s Nest is a brand new, custom built 800 square foot cabin featuring an open loft with king bed and skylights, steam shower, heated bathroom floor, and gas fireplace. Exterior amenities include a hot tub, gas grill, gas fire pit table, fire pit by the river, and private river access in a peaceful, wooded setting. Kayaks/tubes are available to use to float down the river with the unique ability to park/exit on the hosts’ property.

Nestled on 2 acres in the woods of West Virginia, kick back and relax in this quiet, chic cabin. Soak in the oversized copper tub, read on the porch swing, or cuddle by the electric fireplace. All the amenities of home, but away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Only 25 minutes to quaint Old Town Winchester, where there are unique shops, breweries, restaurants and history! The cabin is located 20 minutes from a variety of scenic hiking trails that provide opportunities for adventure.

Private: you cannot see another house from the front porch or back decks and it has thick woods all around. At the top of the property are soaring views with 3 miles of visibility. No need to go to the national park.

The cabin has 1 separate bedroom with a queen bed, an upstairs loft with a queen and a full bed, and a downstairs bunk bed. Includes a large front porch facing the creek. We envisioned this one room, design-forward cabin as a space for solo travelers, couples, artists, writers, and their dogs to unwind, center the self in nature, and find deep focus. It quickly became our happy place. Windows on all four sides ground you on the fully wooded lot, and the view from the spacious back porch evolves into new art throughout every season.
