Gorgeous Condesa House with Beautiful Private Garden

This gorgeous, recently renovated 1920's home features its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in the bustling metropolis of Mexico City. Spend the morning exploring the neighborhood, then retire for a siesta or afternoon coffee on the terrace. This house is the residence of a travel writer and her partner, a renowned Spanish artist. Once owned by Mexico’s Secretary of Education, Jaime Torres Bodet (a founder of our world famous Anthropology Museum) it has been painstakingly restored by the current owners in keeping with the true essence of the property, while adding a personal touch with furniture, objects and art they have collected from all over the world. This is one of the few houses in Mexico with European central heating. ( a must to have during winter ) The house has two stories and a mezzanine. On the main floor is the living room with original chimney and wood floors, kitchen, and dining room that seats 8 people and looks onto a peaceful garden. This floor also contains a half bathroom. On the mezzanine level there’s a Japanese futon and an 1800’s piano—a perfect nook to read, relax, or make music. On the second floor you’ll find the master suite with its own bathroom, balcony and separate TV room that can be used as an extra bedroom with a very comfortable Full bed. When the TV room is used as a bedroom it has his own entrance. Two additional bedrooms on this level share another bathroom: one has a queen-sized bed, the other two twin beds that can be joined to form a king-sized bed. Linens are of the finest quality Egyptian cotton. The house is fully serviced. Our housekeeper Ceci will spoil you with fresh orange juice and a selection of fresh fruit, bread, and homemade jam. And, of course, there’s fresh ground Mexican coffee and an excellent selection of fine teas. (We also offer options for vegan travelers.) This is one of the few houses in central Mexico City with its own private garden, a welcome green oasis in this bustling megalopolis. You can use the public bikes that are in front the church (2 blocks), or in front the bookstore ( 2 blocks to the oposite side ) The taxi stand is 2 blocks from the house You can Uber If you have your own park I have a reserved place in the house. Really well connected! Ceci the house keeper is an amazing cook. She will cook hot breakfast, lunch and dinner upon request. She usually do all the cleaning in the morning, but she can stay longer if you need her. We like to give our guests delicious hot Mexican breakfast. We like them to taste real Mexican home cooking. We are open to vegan, vegetarian, or any specific diet. Luis the maintenance guy will go to the house only is there is a problem to be fixed.

Es una increíble casa de campo en una huerta de aguacates. Ubicada en San Juan Atezcapan a corta distancia de Valle de Bravo. Es ideal para retiros y escapadas de la ciudad, para días de descanso y desconecte. Está configurada en dos bloques. En una parte están los espacios públicos, una sala o estancia, comedor, cocina con un baño y un desayunador al exterior. Inmediatamente a un lado están los espacios de descanso. Una habitación principal con cama king, armario, terraza y su propio baño.

Casa Los Angeles is a luxury villa, near Malinalco. The rent includes a cook, maid and caretaker. (Over 10 guests you will need additional staff). It is on 5 hectares of gorgeous landscaped gardens.
