He enjoys playing with the many deer, rabbits and various wildlife that we hope you can enjoy too during your stay! The cabin is conveniently located near historic downtown North Wilkesboro, Moravian Falls, many ski slopes, Boone, & West Jefferson! Pets are welcome with no additional charge!!!

Catch bass from the deck! This cozy cabin sits on a 100 year old rock retaining wall and overlooks a 1 acre pond. Feels like you are in the mountains but only a 10 minute drive from Hickory. Functional bathroom w/ running hot water and climate controlled living space. Kitchenette with small refrigerator and microwave. The large front deck has lighting and a gas grill for cooking out. Plenty of wildlife around including deer, fox, & various birds.

Deer Run is a log cabin with all the modern comforts you need tucked in a cozy setting that looks like it could have been there for centuries! It sits along the bank of Big Elkin Creek with steps that lead down to the water's edge and chairs that are perfect for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine to sip as you watch the sun set.
