Peaceful location in the Greene/Sullivan Forest. Within 2 miles of over 30 stripper pits for some of the best fishing in southwest Indiana. Also excellent for a nice couple's get-a-way from the hustle and bustle of the city. This cabin is located in the forest so cell service can be very poor. I do have a cell phone booster on the fireplace which helps a little bit if you stand in front of it, but be aware that cell phone service is poor. Also keep in mind that we do not have Wi-Fi available.

We have a fire ring in the backyard-ready for relaxing evening campfires and story telling

We will provide enough trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap to get you started after that its renters responsibility. We have state certified kilm dried firewood for sale $6 bundle. Coffee Pot take both grounds and k-cups. 4 lawn chairs.

There is also the Goosepond Fish and Wildlife Area where you can have a bird watching adventure. Lots of fishing opportunities in the area as well as hiking trails. Recently remodeled with lots of great amenities. Retreat is located in front of the main house and shares a driveway but has ample private parking.
