Approx 1500 sf area with plenty of parking in a very rural area close to hiking and swimming or rock climbing at Hanging Rock State Park, and Pilot Knob, as well as floating the Dan River or just relaxing watching the horses play in the paddock, enjoying roasting hot dogs or smores over the fire pit. The house has two fireplaces with gas logs and an outdoor shelter with a wood burning stone fireplace and charcoal grill. The area offers many local attractions such as live music at the Arts Place in Danbury and tubing and kayaking on the Dan River.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Adventure awaits with ziplining, kayaking, canoeing, and river tubing excursions within minutes of the front door.

From the Antiques that were chosen for the space, to the attention to detail in the landscape, this space has been designed to give you a sense of local country life. Airy, and the Historical Parks like Rock House and Horne Creek Farm.
