The Galloway Steading- The Beehive couples retreat

The Bee Hive at The Galloway Steading is crafted in Galloway forest timber with stunning views and fully enclosed pet friendly garden. Private outside dining, hot tub and fire pit to ensure you can fully enjoy beautiful views and gorgeous black skies at night. With a fully equipped kitchen and shower room and a king-size bed were hoping this couples retreat has it all for complete relaxation. *£13/pet per stay payable on arrival. Wifi is an add on for £10 per stay however 4g is pretty good here

The Sea Cubby, Private Holiday Lodge, Portling.

The Sea Cubby is a unique wee holiday lodge overlooking the Solway Firth. It is perched just above the waves with the most beautiful views across Portling Bay to the white sands of Merse Head nature reserve. The Lodge is not in a holiday park it stands alone with it's own private driveway, parking and garden. It’s so quiet, a retreat to escape and relax, by sitting watching and listening to the waves. The Lodge has a large glass roofed deck. Well behaved dogs are considered, please ask first.

The Scars View

The Scars View is a fresh and spacious 4 berth caravan with an incredible sea view situated in the peaceful village of Monreith. This part of Dumfries and Galloway is a true hidden gem with miles of coastline ready to explore just yards away, as well as a great selection of golf courses, sites of historical interest, pubs, cafes, restaurants, Galloway International Dark Sky Park, Kirroughtree Forest Park, Wigtown Scotlands National book town and Bladnoch -Scotlands oldest Southern distillery.

Nook ( Carsluith holiday lodges) is a beautiful off- grid spacious lodge with a wood fired hot tub and stunning views across the Cree estuary. It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

Cedar View is a luxury stable conversion sharing the same fantastic views as 3littlehuts that can be enjoyed from your own enclosed verandah. Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms, the first bedroom is a Superking and is a larger bedroom, the second is a Superking in a smaller bedroom. Depending on the weather, you can luxuriate in the outdoor bath, or be cozy beside the wood burning stove enjoying a sea view. A perfect destination for exploring Galloway and is 1/2 mile from GGS Yard Wedding venue.

The Dark Skies Mega Pod with a 2 person electric hot tub is nestled amongst the Carrick Hills in South Ayrshire, South West Scotland. Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.

Barend Sandyhills Log Cabin Free Golf

The 'Dragons Lodge' is a beautiful Scandinavian Log House set with others within 36 acres of parkland approximately 800 yards from the unspoilt beach at Sandyhills Bay. Balconies offer stunning views across the Solway Firth. Furnished to an excellent standard this is the perfect base for a relaxing holiday. The biking and walking trails of Mabie and Dalbeattie Forest (7stanes) are close by. Colvend golf course is free to lodge guests. The area is recognised dark sky area.

Kyle Lodge at The Old Church, secluded retreat

Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

Pods@theCroft - Eden Pod

Soak in the views of the Isle of Arran whilst you soak in your private wood-fired hot tub. Our Eden pod is compact, cosy and comfortable. It sleeps 2 people and comes with a smart TV and Wi-fi. A two ring hob, a kettle and a toaster. Inside is open plan but cosy with a king-size bed, armchair and settee and kitchen area. The bathroom contains a toilet, sink and shower.
