Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. We are a 6 minute drive from the airport, 15 minute drive to downtown and only 40 minutes to Mt. Washington Ski Resort... Welcome to Paradise!

Our " floathouse" has everything a guest could want, privacy and a beautiful waterfront location on the Whaletown Lagoon. There is a shared family dock for launching your kayaks, swimming, or just relaxing and watching the changing of the tides. Its vintage ambience combines much of its original historical nature and water travels with modern updates. A former bunk house for hand logging camps and part of our floating household, its traveling days are now over.

The cottage is accessible just off the Sunshine Coast Highway and is a one hour drive from the Langdale Ferry Terminal. You'll be greeted with a stellar view of the ocean in Bargain Bay and literally steps from the swimmable beach. It's the perfect way to relax and be surrounded by nature.
