The Chalet is set on a quaint piece of Door County's shoreline. Just steps from the waters of Sturgeon Bay, its location is very private, yet convenient to the city. You will enjoy the early morning sunshine from the east and the evenings colors lighting up the surrounding bay. We think you're going to love the charm of our year-round shore-side retreat and its truly unique hidden setting.

Relax and unwind in this dog-friendly (additional fee) 1 & 1/2- story home exclusively yours to enjoy. Enjoy the sights and sounds of wildlife as you sit by an outside fire, grill out, or curl up on an oversized chair with a steaming cup of coffee. Bring your bikes as downtown and beach/park are just a short ride away. Due to VERY strict rules in the town where our cabin is located, some dates may not be available but we will do our best to accommodate. DCTZ Permit no.33-56-2818-00.

Glidden Cottage -Beach Access!

Our cottage is situated on the “quiet side” of Door County on the meandering Glidden drive along the Lake Michigan shoreline. The cottage is perched upon a small hill and surrounded by pine trees in a relaxed country setting. Guests have dedicated access to Lake Michigan right across the street. The sand beach provides for an excellent location for kayaking, sunbathing, swimming, and walks. Glidden Cottage is only five miles from Sturgeon Bay.
