Base Camp for Your Next Tahoe Adventure

Welcome to Base Camp! Our cozy studio (308 SF) is located in the Tahoe Donner Lodge Condominiums. The Lodge HOA is less than 50 yards from the Tahoe Donner downhill ski resort - consistently voted as the best place to learn how to ski. Our guests also get discounted tickets to both the Tahoe Donner downhill and cross-country ski resorts. A private parking lot is available for our guests. Please note that our condo is not appropriate for more than two guests, including children of any age.

The Chickaree Mountain Retreat is our lovingly cared for 1965 A-frame with the classic architecture we know and love. Cozy, classic and updated A-frame features a view of Donner Lake, a quiet neighborhood, and thoughtful modern updates making it the ideal place to unwind and enjoy all that Truckee has to offer! PLEASE NOTE: There are TIGHT STEEP STAIRS INSIDE OF THE HOME, as well as STEEP STAIRS OUTSIDE to get into the home from either entrance. WINTER - 4WD & CHAINS REQUIRED. We have the driveway plowed professionally and you will be responsible for shoveling the stairs and deck during your stay.

Coziest Cabin in the Woods

A great cabin for a couple (or two couples) or small family, with easy access to great hiking and mountain biking trails in the summer. In the winter, there is a sledding hill and miles of snowshoe trails out the back door. Four ski resorts are within ten minutes' drive. The deck is the perfect place to watch the bountiful stars in the clear mountain air any time of year. Please read the notes about winter conditions, especially the driveway, very carefully.

Soda Springs Retreat

A step back into history. Condo located inside of an old Historic Railroad building converted into beautiful cozy condominiums. Very close drive to Bay Area (3 hours) yet within close proximity of Reno, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. 5 minute walk to Soda Springs Ski Resort (ski-in/ski-out)! In summer, great hiking and lakes all close by. Insanely fast wifi (400mb download, 40mb upload). Please see note about train close by and possible noise.

Easy backyard launching for your canoe, kayak or stand up board with just a short paddle to Donner Lake. Close to everything - rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, fishing and hiking.
