Charming and Serene 1919 Escape

**Please read before booking** Share leisurely dinners under the ornate metal gazebo at a light-flooded residence brimming with character. The soothing shades of gray at this private, split-level (living room, bathroom, and kitchen upstairs, bedroom downstairs) 800 square foot guest house lead to tranquility and rest amongst the fragrant, climbing roses of the private garden. Please note there are two sets of stairs in this apartment. **In light of COVID-19, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures to ensure the safety of our guests. If you have any additional questions, please ask.** This guesthouse is a gorgeous split-level guest house in the Liberty Wells neighborhood. On the top floor is a lounge area, full kitchen, and newly renovated bathroom. On the bottom floor is the bedroom with a king-size bed. There is also a queen-size air mattress and a pack-N-play to accommodate any number of guests. You will have access to the entire guest house. We can be available to you, should you need us. While you may not see us you will probably meet our Scottish Terrier, Tater, in the yard! Liberty Wells is just south of downtown Salt Lake City. A mile-long walk or drive reaches Liberty Park and the 9th district, which is peppered with unique restaurants and shops, while Alchemy Coffee and vintage shops are just a few blocks away. Walking is very easy. However, a car can be helpful depending on what you plan to do. There is a bus stop a block away that will take you around the city. And Lyft or Uber will can take you just about anywhere for less than $10. A couple things we've heard from former guests: -There are stairs in the apartment, and because it was built in 1919, they are narrow. There is a hand railing. -The bedroom and bathroom are on separate floors. -We are located at the end of a dead end street, which makes parking challenging. We have a certain neighbor who is very vocal about "his parking spot," in front of his home; however, it is all public street parking. -Because the building was built in 1919, guests have tripped the breaker when too many appliances were plugged in at once. We recommend using one appliance at a time.

Sugar House Urban Basecamp

Whether it is business or adventure that brings you to Salt Lake City, you can unwind in this homely, remodeled brick bungalow in the coveted, safe, walkable, and quiet neighborhood of Sugar House. Groceries and great restaurants are conveniently found nearby. A nd if you are bringing your kiddos, there’s a park with a playground across the street or you can take them to the Sugar House Park only 3 minutes away, where they can enjoy the best city sledding in winter. For adventure, you may foray into the nearby mountains and be skiing, biking, or hiking in 30 minutes or less. Utah’s world-famous ski resorts of Deer Valley, Park City, Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and solitude are all a short drive away. Or you may even enjoy some urban trail running and biking in the 110.5 acre Sugar House Park or nearby trails. For business or conventions, the house is only 12 minutes from Downtown Salt Lake City and the convention and sports arenas. The house is also about 12 minutes away from the University hospital if you are visiting Salt Lake City for healthcare issues.

Sunny, clean, cozy garden cottage with private entrance in the backyard of my home, with a garden view and its own small patio. The space is small, 300 sq. ft. (microstudio), but very efficient. The studio has a sofa that converts to a full-size bed, bathroom with shower, and kitchenette. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, silverware, pots & pans, etc., so you can cook meals. It has a mini fridge, electric teakettle, coffeemaker, microwave, toaster oven, and single electric stove burner.
