Canal access to Halls River & Homosassa River for flats boats or pontoon boats only. Must be able to lower bimini to go under Halls River Bridge. Property includes three kayaks and one canoe.

Chassahowitzka, a fishing village in Homosassa, Fl. Book one our local fishing guides, swim with the manatees, or rent kayaks from one of the local campgrounds on the water all less than two miles away! It is a very short paddle to 7 sisters springs. It’s a page right out of a fairy tale. In the colder months manatees are abundant and can be observed right from the local dock. Fishing is also permitted at the local dock where Mangrove Snapper and Bass are often caught along with other species.

Located within minutes to world class fishing, golfing, the famous Ellie Schiller's wildlife state park, hiking trails, biking trails, the Peace caves, manatee tours and our local monkey celebrities! Come back to your space and cool off in our large pool while grilling and chilling with the family. The pool is equipped with a safety gate and floatation buoy for the safety of your small children. In walking distance is Sassa Style Rentals where you can rent golf carts, kayaks, boats and more.

Off the Beaten Path

Our home is located on 5 acres in the middle of farms yet we are 10 minutes from shopping and a large variety of restaurants. Tampa International Airport is 50 minutes away so we have the best of both worlds. We enjoy the quiet beauty of the countryside but can be in Tampa for theatre in minutes. Hernando county boasts of some of the best golf courses in the area. We have a walking/biking trail 2 minutes from the house. Two State parks are 10 miles away and are a great way to spend the day.

Full size kitchen has stove; refrigerator; microwave and coffee bar. Kitchen table seats two. Private separate bathroom has marble floor & walk in shower with seat. Office & dressing closet separates the master queen size bedroom. Private screen lanai for morning coffee direct access to bedroom.

Remodeled Water Front Property with beautiful furnishings. There are two bedrooms, two baths, and a large lanai overlooking the canal. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Walking distance to Chassahowitzka campgrounds, a bait shop, and a bar/restaurant. Fish off the private boat dock: covered parking, bonus lanai room. We have two fishing kayaks available for use. THE OWNER TAKES NO LIABILITY FOR THE USE OF KAYAKS. Pet must be approved before check-in.

For additional sleeping there is a sleeper sofa in the lounge. We will accommodate Dogs (up to two) but NO CATS... Owner is highly allergic. There is a $75 additional pet fee per stay.
