Welcome to our home! This English basement unit has its own separate entrance with keyless code entry. We offer free private parking in the back of our home and patio access, which you will share with the host. Our home is located in the border of Edgewood/Brookland DC and close to many restaurants, shops, parks, breweries, and our personal favorite, the metropolitan branch trail. We are a 10-min walk to the red-line metro, and a 15-min bike or drive to the national mall (US Capitol/museums).

Rooms split for privacy. Open kitchen/dining/living room. Cold DeerPark water fountain. Basement apt so there is some movement noise. DC can be a busy, loud, fast-moving city at times, but the space we've cultivated here is a tranquil escape from the commotion without having to leave the city. This private 1 bedroom accessory dwelling unit has a full bathroom, full kitchen, laundry machines, desk/workspace, dining table, and small porch with table and chairs for a morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail surrounded by trees. An upstairs (lots of stairs), rear entrance offers a private feel. Short walk to stores, YMCA, restaurants, dog parks & more! 12 min drive to DCA & Braddock metro about a mile. Noise may be an issue if you need silence.
