The Sumner Loft

Located in the heart of Sumner village centre, The Sumner Loft is an award winning architectural apartment with ocean glimpses. It has open plan kitchen, living and dining and slider doors onto an sunny outdoor deck. Two king bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, as well as a compact bunk room for the kids with 4 bunk beds. With underfloor heating on the lower level it’s lovely and cosy in the winter. Perfect for a holiday by the beach with the advantages of being in the centre of a bustling village.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space at the end of a private laneway. Accessed by external steps, the house is split into two pods connected by an external deck. Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

Alternatively a short walk uphill to access mountain bike and walking tracks on the Port Hills.

Beach House - South Brighton 2 bedroom unit

This is part of my home across from the beach in South New Brighton. I am listing it for up to 60 nights per year to cover my rates and running costs. It is not suitable for children under 6. The unit has everything you should need for a short stay including the use of my laundry. I have kept my pricing low and simple. No cleaning fee and no charge for the second bedroom. I don't expect guests to clean, do laundry or put out rubbish ( but appreciate it if you do!) Max. stay 10 days.
