It comes equipped with all necessities; a bathroom with a shower, two bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and an outdoor terrace. Giltún Cottage, located near Selfoss in South Iceland, is a charming retreat with accommodations for 8 guests, a hot tub, and plenty of amenities. The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Sólvangur Icelandic Horse Center - Vala 2

Beautiful nice little house the middle house) for 2-4 people, with 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed (for 1-2 persons). The house has a kitchenette and bathroom. Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings. Stable shop is on sight that you can get to know the Icelandic horse by doing a riding lessons, children ride or a stable visit but needed to be ordered before 🤗

Only 20 min drive from the Golden Circle and other tourist attractions. If you love nature and peace this is the place for you!
