Salty Cottage is the perfect family home located less than one mile from historic downtown Swansboro and 6 miles from the beach's of Emerald Isle. Salty cottage is a fully remolded 19th century historic home that was moved from downtown Swansboro to the banks of the White Oak river. You'll find the amenities are bountiful from the views of the white oak river through the live oaks off the back deck to the private bricked courtyard for morning coffee located just off your master suite.

As an added benefit the owner offers private parking at a quiet neighborhood beach on Emerald Isle, a short 9-10 minute drive from the home

Our space also includes a spacious fenced in yard and lovely patio. The cottage is nestled in Vista Cay Village. We are centrally located near Emerald Isle, Hammocks Beach State Park, Camp Lejeune, Croatan National Forest, and historic downtown Swansboro. Lastly, we are a veteran owned and operated business. We’ve rehabbed a 1959 fishing cottage, 2 bed, 2 bath surrounded by glass w/ kitchen and living facing the water.

Welcome to Kayakers Hideout! A cozy guest house studio located on the water and just minutes from the beaches of Emerald Isle. Slip one of our kayaks or yours directly from our house into a beautiful system of secluded and wildlife packed still-water creeks, marshes, and waterways leading into the intercoastal. Located centrally between all of the most popular attractions in the area. Relax, unwind, and enjoy your coastal getaway!
