Melkhout Farm Cottage

The charming Farm Cottage on our fully operational dairy farm between Bonnievale and Swellendam provides a serene escape. The cottage features a spacious living area, a well-equipped kitchen, and 3 comfortable bedrooms and outdoor braai. Outside you’ll be greeted by sweeping views of the surrounding farmland and mountain views with cows as your neighbours. The river flows nearby, offering opportunities for fishing or simply enjoying a leisurely stroll along its banks. We warmly welcome pets.

This delightful cottage is in the heart of the quaint and queer town of Barrydale. It oozes character, and is a lovely place to stop over, or rest a few days and simply unwind. Hermitage Huisies: Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a stand alone century old farm cottage made postcard-perfect by the milieu of flowers, horses, green fields, dramatic mountains and adjacent farm dam. Newly redecorated, featuring a luxury double bed, two single beds and a sofa bed. Fireplace in the open plan living/kitchen area. Wi-Fi, TV with FIRESTICK prime video, netflix! Dassieshoek - Ou Skool

Situated in the mountains of Robertson, this double volume, beautifully restored Old School is a tranquil getaway for the whole family. There is a gorgeous eco pool and plenty of amenities for children. Located next to the Marloth Nature Reserve, the house is at the beginning of the Arangieskop Hiking Trail. Mountain biking, hiking, birding and river and dam access mean that there are plenty of outdoor activities for the whole family.

Malachite cottage is a renovated 100 year old plus stone cottage with a whole lot of charm and character. The cottage is adjacent to the main farmhouse, but has it's own private entrance and enclosed garden with fire pit, braai and wood-fired hot tub. The off-grid Farm is situated in the picturesque and secluded mountains some 25 kilometers (11km on tar and 14km on gravel) outside the town of Montagu.

When we first opened our spot we were truly over the hills and far away... now the village has grown around us a bit, but the place can still feel pretty secluded. The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.
