This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

The inside is dark adobe with gold straw, with flagstone floors, and rustic Sycamore Oak beams. 3 kivas fireplaces too! It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!

Family owned Earthship with a beautiful view of the Arroyo Hondo Mesa and the Taos Ski Mountain. Perfect for those looking to escape into the southwestern country side. Our family has enjoyed it for years as a ski pad and hiking retreat. It has a lot of character and unique charm. Very few people have been able to walk away from this home without falling in love with it, and it's private location on our hill in Arroyo Hondo which is located about 20 minutes north of Taos.
