Two mins walk to Locals cafe, 2 mins drive to takeaways/bars, 5 mins drive to centre of town, coastal walkway, galleries, and museum. Ten mins drive to Pukekura park for Womad and Bowl concerts.

There is one bathroom, a separate toilet, and a full laundry. It is conveniently located near Taranaki Base Hospital, Moturoa, Westown, and the Coastal Walkway.
