Bird's Nest – Charming Sunny Family House

Bird's Nest is a private sunny family house surrounded by a secluded peaceful garden with lots of trees and birds. A perfect place to relax and rest with your family while exploring the Abel Tasman Nationalpark, the Great Taste Cycle Trail or the Richmond Hills. The Richmond Hills have lots of walking and mountain bike trails with fantastic views over the Tasman Bay. Rabbit Island with its wonderful beach and spectacular scenery is also a great place to enjoy the day and just 15 min away by car.

A warm, cosy and private retreat nestled into Lake Station, just 12 mins from St Arnaud Village. Fully self-contained house with large lounge, dining and kitchen area, an ensuite and 2nd bathroom as well. Plenty of lawn for the kids to run around on or a game of backyard cricket. If you like wide open spaces, fresh alpine air and farm animals this is the place for you! There is plenty to explore with Lake Rotoiti, mountain biking trails, walking tracks, Rainbow ski field and fly fishing nearby.

Nestled next to Kahurangi National Park, is the closest BnB to the Heaphy Track Great Walk and the awe-inspiring Oparara Arches. A remote, private garden retreat complete with Labyrinth and off-grid hot tub (advance notice). This self-contained little house for 2 was once a Honey house. Ruru Nest Property is next to a river and farmland, just a few minutes outside of the village of Karamea with its cafes and pubs. Local food, nature connection walks available as extras to complete your stay.
