Calida's Cosy Cottage

A 5mins drive from town or the lake or a 15mins walk to either. The entire home and garden are yours to enjoy. If cosy, private, quiet and a 'Home Away From Home' are what you are looking for, this small, 2-bedroom gem is it. Suitable for a maximum of two adults, you'll find a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfy queen beds, Smart TV, bose speaker, sun deck, coffee machine and a roaring fire each evening. Off-street parking for 2 vehicles. Rear entrance is covered so you and your gear remain dry.

Marigold Cottage - Includes Bikes & Kayaks

Beautifully presented and positioned for all-day sun, this is a great base for your next Taupo escape. Walk/bike to town and the lake, or drive in just 2 minutes. The home is warm and comfortable with a large boat shed to store your toys. There are 2 kayaks and 2 retro cruiser bikes for you to use. The kitchen and bathroom are modern with new flooring throughout. The property is fully fenced and close to several playgrounds and takeaway shops. The outdoor bath is utter bliss all year round.

Escape to 'Ewing Escape', Taupo

“WOW, the view - the photos don’t do it justice” say guests on arrival, and it’s true. The view will take your breath away day and night. Only a few hundred metres walk to Acacia Bay Beach to swim (or fish for trout) in the super clean freshwater lake. Oh, and the peace and quiet from this side of the lake. The cottage is modern, comfortable, & fully self-contained inc WM, drier and laundry powder. Only 7km to Taupo town centre so close enough to experience all Taupo township has to offer.

Just metres from the lake edge & less than 3km from the town centre, this sunny iconic renovated 1970's apt is the perfect place for a bit of R&R, or make the most of all the outdoor adventure that Taupo has to offer then come home & relax in the private thermal plunge pool. Soak up the afternoon sun whilst taking in the amazing 180 degree views of the lake & mountains from the comfort of the living room or the private courtyard and balcony.

With a fully fenced section you can relax knowing the kids are safe playing anywhere on the property. Please note that the 4th bed is a fold down bed in the lounge.

Nestled in the heart of Acacia Bay, this all day, sun filled house is the place to stay. Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings and spectacular views of lake Taupo. Open plan Kitchen dining/ lounge with heat pump/ air conditioner. Two minute walk to the lake, bush walks, Tennis courts playgrounds and popular swimming bays in Acacia Bay. Kayak hire just down the road! Local dairy and Restaurant are only a short 2 minute drive and 8 minute drive to Taupo Town. Enjoy your stay!

Enjoy luxury beds and spacious open plan living. Five minutes from the lake with expansive lake views & gorgeous sunsets. A 30 minute gentle stroll along the lake foreshore to the lovely Taupo township, offers boutique shopping, cafes, bars and restaurants. The house has two large decks for summer relaxation and 2 heat pumps for winter warmth. A plunge pool you can fill with natural thermal bore water is situated on the private rear deck for you to enjoy year round.

Great location, great shower, great beds!

I’m so happy to be able to share my wonderful home with others and supplement my pension 😀 The AirBnb rooms are separate from my part of the home. There’s 2 rooms and a bathroom. The bedroom has a queen double bed. The lounge has a king double bed and couch with a tv, a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge. It is quite roomy 6x4 mtrs. There is a small step up to the shower so take care coming out of it. You will enjoy beautiful Taupo. 😎

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Washing machine, hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided.

The Cottage.

Relax and unwind in this quintessential 1960's cottage which was the first Lockwood ever built in Taupo. Nestled in the central, picturesque and highly sort after Bird Area, you are just 2 mins walk to the lake, 5 mins walk to local shops and restaurants and 15 mins walk into the CBD. This is a cosy cottage with a peaceful outdoor living area for the kids to safely play and the adults enjoy the tranquility the location has to offer.
