Relax in Your Private Spa at This Tranquil Country Cottage

Indulge in a luxury spa experience at a tranquil cottage. Follow a garden path from your decked balcony to a private wood-fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, outdoor shower and summerhouse. It's a great spot for stargazing by night and bird-watching by day. Cook in a modern well-equipped kitchen or have a night off, dinner prepared for you by us and brought over to the cottage. Please note that all logs for the hot tub and log burner are inclusive ! We are pet friendly and welcome 1 large breed or 2 smaller breeds of dog. The cottage is situated in the grounds of our own home. While it is entirely private we are on hand if you need anything and Mark can also provide private catering as a highly regarded chef sourcing the best local produce in Cornwall ! The cottage terrace opens out from the bedroom with direct access to the garden and a path which leads to an outdoor spa with wood fired hot tub, sauna, hammock, fire pit and summerhouse. We are located in the adjacent house should you need us for anything at all but offer our guests total privacy otherwise. The choice is yours ! The cottage is in a pretty rural hamlet surrounded by countryside near the market town of Launceston in the county of Cornwall. A car is needed. The cottage sleeps 2 adults in a King sized bed and up to 2 small children (under 12) on the sofa bed.

Tavistock Cottage, Dartmoor, Devon

The cottage is situated in a quiet location in the market town of Tavistock. It is within walking distance to the town where you will find award-wining restaurants and pubs, a market and independent shops. Only two miles to Dartmoor National Park. A Victorian miners' cottage, part of the Tamar Valley World Heritage Site, it is cosy and refurbished to a high standard. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and pets. 'The cottage is an absolute jewel'

The Old Sunday School is located in the picturesque and peaceful village of Harrowbarrow with stunning views of the Tamar Valley and beyond. The Grade II listed former Wesleyan Sunday School retains many of its original features and has been recently refurbished to a high standard with a contemporary interior including a large ensuite bedroom with dressing area and glass partition giving a mezzanine feel to the beautiful open-plan living space. Explore or just relax in this cosy 5* retreat!

Beautiful Dartmoor house, idyllic moorland setting

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

Cider Barn, Treleigh Farm

Treleigh is a beautiful eight acre farm set in the Tamar Valley, close to Dartmoor national park. The market town of Tavistock is a 15min drive away. The hamlet of Horsebridge, is approx. 1/2 mile away and boasts a classic, popular country pub, The Royal Inn, perfect for a spot of lunch or dinner. The newly renovated Cider Barn offers a perfect, secluded retreat for two. Relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings right outside your window or use the barn as a base to explore Devon & Cornwall.

Riverside cottage

The most idyllic riverside escape! Gooseland Cottage sits on the edge of the River Tavy, close to the village of Bere Ferrers, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to Dartmoor National Park. Tides allowing, enjoy sailing, paddling, or swimming - within yards of your door. Or just soak up the view and read by the woodburner. A bird watching haven - egrets, swans, geese, avocets, osprey, European roller (2023) and this year ... a sea eagle! Masses of walking trails and cycling.

The Old Smithy, Idyllic hideaway on Dartmoor

The Old Smithy is set is a secluded valley on the river Tavy. It is a mile from the nearest road, down a private track through beautiful moorland and woodland. It's an ideal base for walking, cycling wild swimming and getting away from it all, a true nature lovers paradise! We live in a house on the same site so will be on hand for any advice or assistance. We are on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and an hour's drive from numerous beaches. The thriving town of Tavsitock is 7 miles away.

April Cottage is located in Milton Combe (meaning 'middle valley') a quiet Devonian village dating back to 1249. An idyllic rural bolthole within a wooded valley located close to the Devon and Cornwall border, ideally situated to explore the whole of the Westcountry. 2 miles from Yelverton (local shops) and 8 miles from Plymouth. The choice is yours to relax around the wood-burning stove, escape to the wilds of Dartmoor and beyond or enjoy a local cider in the 16th-century pub opposite.

A little unique gem full of character to enjoy

The Forge is a unique place full of character set at the edge of Dartmoor and only 2 miles from the market town of Tavistock. The Forge is a great place for cyclists and walkers, or if you just want to get away from it all. The Cornish Coast is not far and the city of Plymouth full of history is just a short car journey. Tavistock has the markets and lovely cafes and restaurants. The Forge has a log burner to snuggle up next too on those chilly evenings and a garden to enjoy.

Dartmoor cottage - perfect for walkers & cyclists

Forget your worries in this spacious but cosy cottage. Next to the owners' farmhouse, the accommodation is of an excellent standard with fabulous views of the paddock and the dramatic hills of Dartmoor beyond. Close to the open moor you can enjoy excellent walks or cycle rides in the surrounding countryside where the idyllic rural scenes of War Horse were filmed. The local town, Yelverton, is a few minutes drive and has a good butcher, Co-op, Post Office, pubs and more!

The Big Broom Cupboard is a wood framed contemporary house. Built to an exacting standard, with underfloor heating in all rooms, is is warm and cosy as well as being light and airy. Situated in a rural location with stunning views across the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, half a mile from the picturesque village of Milton Combe (with excellent pub) and one mile from the Dartmoor National Park. The house has 3 bedrooms and sleeps 6 people.

Character cottage with all the home comforts located a short level walk from the beautiful historic town of Tavistock. Russell Cottage has been recently and extensively renovated to a high standard. This is a perfect base to explore the South West and Dartmoor. There is a clawfoot bath with a separate wet room shower (not visible in photos). Please note, there are no laundry fascilities.
