Sept 25 | The store has just had some upgrades to make your stay more comfortable while still in keeping with an upcycled rustic shed on a rural property 3km from Matakana - ply interior, concrete floors covered with jute rugs and kilims, and a covered outdoor space to relax and bbq. A rustic country theme which will not suit guests wanting new and modern. Our linen bedding, hand loomed cotton towels, handmade ceramics and Real World products add some luxury. We have Starlink to enjoy Netflix

Welcome to Wharehine Farmhouse, a cosy property with luxurious touches nestled in the rural community of Wharehine. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling farmland and the coast. Relax watching the endless stars from the spa or enjoy the north facing living area with bifolding doors opening up to the farm. Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.
