It's only a 4 minute drive to the shops or a 2 minute walk down to the beautiful lake front. Because our property is not fenced it is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old. Bike track and reserve between the cottage and lake. Just a 15 minute walk along the lakefront to shops and cafes.

We are located in an old established part of town, but only a 5 minute walk to the Main Street of Te Anau and restaurants, and a 2 minute walk to the edge of the lake. Our modern 'suite style' bach is nestled in the heart of the best that Manapouri has to offer, with bush walks to gorgeous lake beaches a step out the door. Couples, and groups of two will love this location on the doorstep of Fiordland National Park, while still only a few doors down from a bar/ restaurant, cafe / dairy and the starting point for Doubtful Sound cruises.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just a stroll to the shores of Lake Te Anau and a 90 minute drive to the world renowned Milford Sound, although you may wish to allow more time for photo opportunities!

The "Lake to Lake" bike trail is across the road from the house, and Fraser's beach is just a few minutes walk on a good path. Quiet and peaceful. No added cleaning fee.
