Bellbird Apartment

The Lodge at Te Rawa is a peaceful waterfront property with self-contained apartments and an exclusive bungalow situated on the very edge of the water in the Marlborough Sounds. <p> The three beautiful self-contained, one-bedroom apartments have their own kitchenette, bathroom and sitting/dining areas, and all the apartments have outstanding sea views and private decks from which to watch the sunset. The beds are all high quality, comfortable, hotel standard beds, with hotel quality linen and feather pillows. A combination of the silence of the area and the comfort of the beds, ensures a stress-free peaceful night's sleep.<p> For guests traveling with friends or family, the sitting rooms in two of the apartments (Tui and Bellbird) have bench type beds, and/or roll-away beds. These allow for 2 additional guests in each of these apartments.<p> Kereru Cottage is our new luxury offering. Completed in December 2019, it stands on its own private part of the property, with undisturbed views over the ocean. It features a large private deck. The Lodge at Te Rawa offers guests the option to self-cater, or dine in our relaxed bar/restaurant. We also have a coffee shop with a full espresso machine for the added luxury of fresh coffee in the mornings. Accessible only by boat, the lodge is completely off the grid and a haven of peace. Our nearest neighbours live on a farm about 10 minutes' walk away and the farm has been in their family for six generations. We can help arrange farm tours for those interested in seeing the original homestead and the daily life of a large working sheep farm. Situated in the middle of the Pelorus sounds this is the perfect location for fishing, boating, walking, or just relaxing on the deck or the wharf with a glass of your favourite sundowner. We also have an extensive library of books which guests are free to borrow or buy. The Pelorus Sounds Mailboat stops here regularly (check their website for details). If you prefer a private trip that can be arranged through one of the three Pelorus Sounds Water Taxi companies Transport can also be arranged from Picton or Blenheim airports.

Know that you are loved... at Tira Ora. Visit the glowworm caves; swim in the phosphorescence on summer nights; call and hear the echo bouncing off the hills; play!

Arthur's Pass Ecolodge - unique off grid living

Only 10mins south of Arthur's Pass Village, on SH73, the Ecolodge overlooks the expansive Waimakariri River and mountains of the National Park. Experience "off grid" living at its best on a small environmental footprint. To stay costs $175 per night for bed and homemade breakfast (for 2 people). You have the option to book up to 4 people in your group, as I have two Queen rooms available. I'm more than happy to share a 2-course meal + wine/beer for $35 pp and spend time sharing stories.

Southern Cross Suite - Panoramic Lake Views

The Southern Cross is bright and cheery with a bit or a botanical feel. Lie in bed and watch the sun set on the Remarkables. With private balcony and half turret sitting room with window seating you can feel very at one with nature. It is a perfect spot to sit and watch the native Bellbirds and Tuis. There are stunning views of everything from The Remarkables, Lake Wakatipu, Cecil and Walter Peak. Freshly snow capped on a cold morning, Cecil will speak to your soul.

Four bed room at Kinloch Wilderness Retreat

Part of a lodge nestled lakeside in nature with fantastic views. Our stunning area has many activities to offer including various hikes, jet boat trips, scenic flights, kayaking, horse treks and more. To relax there's a TV room, book exchange and hot tub, especially good for stargazing! If you don't feel like cooking up a feast take a break and dine in our cozy restaurant, we have something for everyone. Please note that we're a 5hr drive from Milford Sound.

Poolburn Adventure Hub (Poolburn Suite)

Since the 1920s the Poolburn Hotel has been the meeting place of the Ida Valley. Nestled in the remote highlands of Central Otago, between Dunedin and the Lakes District, the valley is home to a close-knit farming community. No longer a pub, we now offer lodging and activities to adventurers from afar. Please send a message if you have any special requirements or dietary restrictions. Tauhou Double Cabin in Nature Retreat

Tauhou Cabin is part of AoMarama Retreat in Golden Bay. Listen to native bird songs, watch stunning sunrises, bush and beach walk, swim and stargaze from AoMarama. The cabin itself is a double cabin of wood construction and built to minimise it s impact on the environment, with enough comforts to make your stay feel like a true escape. Shared Alfresco kitchen along with two shared bathrooms.
