Stylish Pin Mill Boathouse - Stunning River Views

The Blackhouse Boatshed is a stylish new small house boasting stunning panoramic views over the boatbuilding and sailing hamlet of Pin Mill and the famous Butt and Oyster pub. Designed and built by local architects and craftspeople, the house is a perfect base for couples, close to the waterfront and in the heart of beautiful Suffolk countryside. There is a fantastic choice of walks, cycling, and horse rides, as well as opportunities to get onto or into the water or stay in and be cosy.

Shepard’s Hut in Small Orchard

This is a stand alone unit totally self contained with shower and toilet. Unlike garden rooms this unit has wheels and a tow bar. The (should I say) Shepherdess Hut as it was used by a small holder during lambing to be close to her flock. Not suitable for long stays. More details below in The Space. Our small orchard has 2 x cherry, plum, 3 x pear, 2 x apple, greengage, apricot, mulberry, medlar and olive. We also have two 2 x raspberry, loganberry, Japanese wine berry and our own hops

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Once the site office for the builders of this row of Victorian town houses, this is now a delightful and characterful holiday home. We offer a beautifully decorated sitting and dining area, comfortable bed and a compact modern shower room. You will have fast broadband, tv with Sky/Netflix. Microwave, kettle & toaster, bread & cereal to make breakfast. You have your own entrance and can sit in our garden where you may be joined by our pets.

Bluebell Pod with wood fired hot tub

Set on an adult only rural glamping site, the pod is a clever use of space with great views to the outside. It has a kitchenette at one end with a breakfast bar and a bathroom with toilet, shower and basin at the other end. The double bed is made up with luxurious bed linen with a dressing table, vanity mirror and wardrobe next to it. Outside there is a large decked area with its own wood-fired hot tub and bbq where you can enjoy views over the water and ancient woodland.

Boutique cabin in countryside setting in the beautiful peaceful village of Little Baddow, a picturesque village in Essex. 10 minutes by car from the city of Chelmsford and 15 minutes from coastal town of Maldon. The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Travel cot or single fold out guest bed avail on request, no additional cost.

Intimate self-contained barn conversion focusing on creating warm & inviting accommodation independent from main house. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean & sanitise frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Five mins Chelmsford City Racecourse, 4 mins Hatfield Peverel train station to London, 25 mins Stansted Airport, 30 mins Colchester. Oakwrights is in the middle of Chelmsford, Braintree and Witham all only 10 mins drive.

One of 3 luxury lodges nestled within the Cherry Orchard. The lodge sleeps 4 people with lovely views, its own private hot-tub, large decking area, outside seating & sun loungers. The lodge is well equipped with everything you need, including coffee machine, smart TV ,large fridge freezer with water & ice dispenser, barbeque , pizza oven and outdoor fire pit .About a 20 min walk into Hadleigh, which has a selection of pubs and restaurants.

It makes the most delicious pizzas and we provide all the dough ingredients for you to give it a go..

Situated in the shadow of Orford castle, The Boatshed is a new, spacious, self contained annex in the garden of our home with views across to the historic village of Orford and it’s river. There is off-road parking and WiFi. Little disturbs the peace in this rural area where we have spent the last 35 years. Just out of our gate and the whole of the countryside is yours to enjoy.

The Millhouse Lodge

Light, bright outhouse conversion with private mostly dog proof garden, private entrance and dedicated off street parking. Ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area. This accommodation is in a rural residential area ideal for peace and quiet. Please can we ask that you cover the sofa with your own blankets to minimise dog fluff! Many thanks.

Welcome to my cabin, set in the garden. Access to cabin through side gate/garden. Sleeps 2 on a double bed. Attached to the house is convenient use of your own downstairs shower room/toilet & kitchen area. Cabin is also a games room so guests have use of table tennis, football table, dart board and games. Parking in road just outside house.
