Take a break and unwind at this charming cottage with hot tub on 40-acre Farmhouse property with creek, ponds, and wooded trails. Newly renovated interior perfect for a quiet weekend getaway or couple’s retreat, college visit, festival home-base, or week-long vacation. We are 20 min from Terre Haute (Indiana State U.), 20 min from Raccoon Lake for swimming and boating and an hour from Indianapolis. We have ample parking for your boat and trailer! Close to all Covered Bridge Festival activities.

1 bedroom home located in a great neighbor hood, two big parks blocks away, walk your pets and fishing books away. ISU college Union Hospital less than a mile away. Rose-Hulman college 4.4 miles away. Saint Mary-of-the-woods college 5.5 miles away. Grocery store, restaurants and golf course just blockes away. kitchen has all utensils, plates, cups, pots and pans if you wish to cook. two tv's with Wi-Fi is provided. there is a washer and dryer. The Blue Maiden - built in 1880

This unique place has a style all its own. Recently updated, the Blue Maiden was built in 1880 as a home to the servants who worked in the mansions prevalent in Farrington's Grove. She is 1.4 miles from downtown and ISU campus, between two hospitals, and convenient to St. Mary of the Woods College, IVY Tech and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. She is close to I-70, one block from US 41, and maintains many of her original Victorian charms. She is less than 5 miles from the new casino!

The Getaway House with Hot Tub and Pool

Roasting marshmallows over a campfire is perfect for those cool evenings on the large concrete fire pit (firewood is available, free of charge). Metal skewers and a charcoal grill provided (bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid). Pool open 6/6 -9/7/25. This charming 2 bdrm, 1 bath home is perfect for families or couples.

If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.

Captain Bill’s Lake House Heated Salt Water Pool

Captain Bill’s Lake House. This majestic A-frame is at the entrance to the Cataract Lake boat ramp. The house will accommodate up to 7 guests, with three bedrooms and two full baths. All guests have full access to Captain Bill’s shared heated salt water pool and surrounding gardens. Boat parking is available on the property, inquire for details. Heated Salt Water Pool is seasonal beginning May 1, through September 30th.
