The 1938 Barn

The 1938 Barn is located in the ❤ of Covered Bridge Country in Parke County. You will love the rustic charm of this converted hay barn built in 1938. Come relax by the camp fire or explore our many Covered Bridges and local State Parks. The farm also hosts Henry's Market, a market garden providing fresh meat and vegetables which makes summertime an excellent time to visit! Please note: There is NO WI-FI, NO CABLE. We have a selection of DVDs. Limited cell service, AT&T works best.

The Getaway House with Hot Tub and Pool

Enjoy the beautiful hot tub year round with the woods as your view, along with a screened-in area on the back deck and a semi-inground, heated swimming pool! Roasting marshmallows over a campfire is perfect for those cool evenings on the large concrete fire pit (firewood is available, free of charge). Metal skewers and a charcoal grill provided (bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid). Pool open 6/6 -9/7/25. This charming 2 bdrm, 1 bath home is perfect for families or couples.

Wabash River House

This home is situated on the river, offering a private setting with quick access to other amenities. It’s only 5 miles to I70, 3 miles to Indiana State University, 7 miles to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and 6 miles to Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. It’s also just half a mile away from The Landing. The home features a full kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, and two full bathrooms. There’s also upgraded WiFi and a 58-inch Smart TV with basic cable in the living room.

Enjoy your stay at the Rustic Retreat. The large living room offers plenty of space for work or relaxation. Has washer/dryer. The back yard offers a grill, picnic table, extra chairs and umbrella. If you are looking for a place to get away from the stresses of life this is it. You can fish on our 10 acres lake, walk thru the woods or just relax on the porch swing. Only 5 minutes from the nearest town, 30 minutes from Terre Haute and 40 minutes from Indy. Front porch faces a walnut tree grove and back porch faces 10 acre lake. At least 3 State Parks are within 20 miles of this property. Also super close to the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.
