Just minutes from the airport, this retreat blends convenience and tranquility, making it perfect for relaxing getaways or easy travel stays. *Note: property has a pond nearby and children must be attended at all times! Take it easy at the Lone Star Cabin. This cabin is located in northeast Texas in a country setting only 10 minutes from Interstate 30 in New Boston and 20 minutes from Texarkana. If you’re just passing through or needing a get a way this cabin is sure to meet your needs. 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bath and fully stocked kitchen. The sofa has a full size bed and loft has a twin futon mattress. There is also a washer and dryer. Outside there is a sitting area with fire pit and a charcoal grill.

We love Texas and we also have a special place for Mexico in our hearts, so we both wanted to add some spice to the house and make it bright, yet very comfortable and relaxing. We offer lots of games, including the cornhole to our guests!

Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (2 maximum) No large groups. No parties.

Couch is extremely comfortable to sleep on & I can reconfigure room to add double air mattress on request.
