The Homestead, Walkersons Estate

Welcome to The Homestead@Walkersons The house has an open plan dining area, living area with a fireplace & kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining & family gatherings. The estate (at over 7km2) has mountain springs, forests & waterfalls. There are fantastic walking, cycling & running paths including trail paths on the Wildlife Reserve. The Estate has a runway & Helipad that can be used if arranged. The house is cleaned on Tuesday & Thursdays, other days can be arranged at additional cost.

The ideal romantic getaway or cozy holiday spot for friends. Enjoy nature and beautiful views with little visitors of all shapes and sizes... rooi duikers, mongoose, amazing bird life and the tranquil water. Summer nights on the deck by your own private splashpool, cooler nights cuddle up by the inside fireplace. Ideally situated to explore all the Lowveld has to offer (Kruger Park, God's Window, Pilgrims's Rest, Sabie and more) or just stay put, soak up nature, get lost in a book and recharge

An enchanted stone cottage in Mpumalanga located within a magical farm setting, surrounded by giant trees alive with birdsong. 3 hours drive from Johannesburg. 45minutes from Mbombela, Nelspruit. 15 mins from Ngodwana. Everything on the property, from the food we grow to how we live, work and generate electricity is based on being environmentally sustainable. We are completely off-grid, no power or water cuts!
