Sketching is a wonderful way to capture the essence of what you see in your travels. I have recorded my travels in sketchbooks for over 30 years, and I'd love to teach you how to do the same. Artists of all levels of experience, including beginners, are welcome! • We'll meet at Hickson Road Reserve Park, and I'll hand out sketch paper and pencils. • I'll teach you some essential drawing techniques, and then we'll begin sketching! I’ll assist with tips and guidance as you create your Sydney travel sketch. • You'll have a great view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the ferries, and the Opera House. We'll walk to a second viewing spot in order to capture final touches. You'll gain new drawing skills and confidence, and take home a sketch as a memento of your time in Sydney.

You’ll have a chance to pop into a bakery for a lamington or grab a drink at a hidden laneway bar. (The cost of refreshments is not included.) G'day there, My name is Trent & I have created a really chilled Blue Mountains experience for those seeking a social & less touristic group tour with full transport. After picking you up from Sydney in our mini bus, we drive to my hometown of Glenbrook to grab a coffee together at a cool local cafe. Before heading into the local National Park for amazing lookouts. We will take you on a moderate/hard 90min bushwalk via some amazing view points, small waterfalls to the base of a big waterfall in Jamison Valley. The hardest part is optional to skip. We provide a fresh picnic lunch (refer to picture) where we all connect. After lunch we check out the Three Sister Rock formations and many other beautiful stops too. During your 1.5hr walk around the farm, you will learn about award winning free range heritage breed pigs and get to feed them. You will see our award winning lamb, and the gorgeous hairy Highland cows. Redleaf farm also has chickens, ducks, geese and peafowl, alpacas, goats and a miniature donkey who loves to have a cuddle. You will learn about ethically raising animals and the process of meat production with provenance. We will show you around our farm and animals, ending with our special swimming hole, and kids will enjoy the log 'climbing fort' and tyre swing by the creek. We encourage private groups to make a visit to Redleaf a special and memorable experience. Other things to note It can be cold in the highlands and weather can change fast. Please be prepared with sensible shoes (mud boots are always a good idea) and a jacket. There can be many hazzards on a farm, so please follow directions and stay alert. During winter months my 4 children have multiple sporting commitments, so I am often unable to do tours on weekends - busy driving rugby players, hockey players and xc skiers around the country!

You’ll have the surfing experience of a lifetime in the #1 place in Australia to learn-to-surf! Meet the Byron Bay Surf School staff at a Carpark in Town in Byron Bay where the waves are best for lessons. We will fit you out with a wetsuit and suitable sized surfboard. We are one of the only surf schools licensed to teach surf lessons in Byron Bay. Our fully-qualified instructors first take you through stretches on the sand and step you through our special 'pop-up technique' in a small and personal group of 8 people maximum. Then it's time to grab your board and go surfing! Our instructors stay with you in the water, guiding you on to perfect peeling waves and helping you stand up and ride the waves of your dreams, all the way to shore. You will not know you could smile so much or be more exhilarated than when you ride your first waves. We offer the most water/actual surfing time (approx 2hrs), 2.5hr experience. Other things to note Guests must book their surfing lesson prior to arrival, and arrange their own transportation to/from the Byron Bay Surf School.

Hiking Sydney Harbour National Parks

Did you know that you could go hiking in native forests along the foreshore of Sydney Harbour and still be within view of spectacular cityscapes? We'll meet in the CBD of the city on the steps of the Museum of Contemporary Art facing the iconic Sydney Opera House. From here we'll start our quick warm-up urban hike through the historic Rocks neighbourhood. Our private vehicle will then take us to our harbour-side hikes on the north side of Sydney Harbour. We'll visit scenic viewpoints, secret beaches, weathered rock platforms and unique native forests within the Sydney Harbour National Park. These will be reached by my private vehicle which means we can access more hiking trails. All the National Park trails are in native Australian bushland or forest and provide an insight into the natural indigenous history before European settlement. Each of the hikes will be approximately 45mins to 70 mins in duration. We will take a quick cafe stop before ending at Manly. Once in Manly you will be able to explore this seaside location further on your own. Manly is a very nice destination in itself so it would make sense to spend the afternoon there before heading back to the city by harbour ferry. If you would prefer to do a longer tour I can customise your day and include similar hiking around the south side of the harbour.

Meeting by the lakes edge outside the historic Conjola Post Office & Shop, the route for this guided eco-walk includes lakeside, bush and beach. You'll hear stories of natural environment, flora and fauna (and some surprising local history!) as we wander along the lake edge with binoculars handy for a closer look at the abundant birdlife. Kangaroo sightings are guaranteed on this walk, and lakeside is where we're most likely to see them. Next, via a boardwalk through the bush, you'll visit 3 fabulously placed look-outs with stunning vistas of lake and coast, before emerging on beautiful Conjola beach. Walks along the sea shore vary seasonally. You might see whales, dolphins, endangered beach-nesting birds (and surfers catching a break off Green Island). Leaving the beach via a walk over sand dunes - looking out for wildlife tracks & seasonal plants - we follow the lake edge back to finish near Conjola Entrance boat ramp, with views over to Conjola National Park. Bushfires - Conjola District was badly affected by bushfires Dec/Jan 2019-20, and is still recovering. We'll share stories of this challenging time with you on this walk.

We'll walk though the Inner West neighbourhoods of Newtown, Sydenham and Marrickville visiting hidden Craft breweries. We will cover about 2.5 km at a comfortable pace. We will always include at least 3 independent breweries specialising in handcrafted beer, and an optional gin bar. Each brewery has its own distinct characteristics, vibe and design. We'll provide tasting samples at our first brewery, however further drinks can be purchased according to personal taste. Bars/restaurants in Newtown can be recommended afterwards. Come and enjoy a sociable outing with like-minded people and discover the secret craft brew scene in Sydney. Please contact me if your preferred date is not available. There is always a chance of an extra date or cancellations. Other things to note Bars/restaurants in Newtown and Enmore can be recommended if you wish to further explore the neighbourhood.

Craft Beer Tasting Experience

Let us create a Bespoke Craft Beer tasting experience for you at Longstocking brewery. Our goal is to find a beer that everyone loves, even those who don’t normally drink beer. Your tasting experience starts with a sample tasting of 10 different beers to help find out which flavours your palate is drawn too. We will walk you through individual styles of beer explaining the difference and educating you about each style and once we have found your favourite one, we will shout you another beer. As well as talking about the beer itself, we will also provide you with a brief history of beer and explain the brewing process. The experience lasts about an hour, although you are welcome to stay longer and enjoy a few more if you want too. Fresh Oysters and Woodfired Pizzas available at the Brewery. Don’t want to drive? 萤火虫「赏光」之旅

Age 7 and up. Good mobility needed! An unforgettable, educational experience visiting the unique glow worms after a short walk through World Heritage listed forest and rainforest. We will meet at sunset, spending a little time introducing ourselves and safety briefing. Then as the stars begin to appear, with the use of torches, we begin our 20 minute walk to the overhanging cave and waterfall, with the possibility of seeing our amazing nocturnal wildlife. Possums, gliders, owls and bats to name just a few. Another truly amazing encounter, only within the first 3 weeks of summer is the chance of fireflies. We will spend 30 minutes to an hour in the overhang, behind the waterfall learning about these incredible glowing larvae and why they glow. The track is mostly in good condition, though there are some stairs and heavily eroded sections therefore a medium fitness level is required. Glow worms are extremely sensitive to light and sound so we will ask our clients to respect this and there will be a 5 minute educational talk around this before entering the cave. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the tour. Torches are supplied for everyone on this experience. Minimal impact is very high on our list of priorities and instructions will be given on how to achieve this. We ask our clients to adhere to these rules.

渔民天堂生态漫步之旅

Meeting by the boat ramp at Fishermans Paradise, the route for this guided walk includes riverside, bush, village tracks and streets. You'll hear stories of natural environment, flora and fauna (and some surprising local history!) as we wander along the rivers edge with binoculars handy for a closer look at the abundant birdlife. It's likely we'll also see kangaroos and eastern water dragons (and fish jumping in the river). Via tracks through the bush, and along the riverside, we visit a favourite fishing spots with fabulous views over the river, ideal for photos reflecting the bush in the afternoon light, then wander through the village back to the boat ramp. Bird life is abundant everywhere in Fishermans Paradise so keep your camera and binoculars handy. Bushfire update: Some of the tour route was badly burned in the Black Summer Fires (2019/20). These days the eco-walk includes stories of that challenging time and on-going recovery/regeneration. Other things to note Leisurely walk, sensible footwear recommended. The tracks can sometimes be a bit muddy. Families welcome. Children under 2 are free of charge. Dogs on a leach are welcome on these private tours.

Air Bee N Bee 蜂蜜品鉴之旅

Love honey? Fascinated by bees and their lifecycle? Join us for a one-hour tour of our beautiful Honey Farm on the grounds of a historic National Trust mansion in Bowral, followed by a guided honey tasting and morning tea. We start with a tour alongside the hives: wearing a head veil, you'll be able to safely observe the activities of the bees and hear about their remarkable lifecycle. The talk continues with a demonstration showing an (empty!) Flow Hive and the workings a modern hive. You'll hear about the remarkable lives of these at-risk pollinators and gain an understanding of their behaviours. We then move to our beautiful terrace looking out across the dam and rolling hills for a guided honey tasting where you will taste 6x different floral source honeys, each with it's own distinctive appearance, aroma, viscosity, mouth texture and taste. All of this complemented by a morning tea of fresh sourdough and leaf tea or plunger coffee. This is a great activity for family groups, and visitors to the Southern Highlands. Our apiary is on the grounds of Retford Park, a beautiful historic property a 5x minute drive from Bowral main street. We also have honey available after the visit.
