Talybont-On-Usk has 2 pubs, a restaurant and a café with local shop and post office. Please check with each establishment when they are open as their hours & procedures are constantly being reviewed due to Covid-19

Only 2 miles down the road sat alongside the Brecon to Monmouth Canal is this popular restaurant that serves a wide range of fish dishes along with the usuals. You will find they have a busy beer garden where you can enjoy some nice weather and the canal boats passing by.

The other pub in the village at the opposite end from the cottage, which serves an extensive menu and has a newly-opened deli as well. You can stock up on local fish, meat, cheese, freshly baked bread and all sorts of other delicious bits and pieces.

A very popular pub/restaurant/deli near the Canal in Llangynidr about 10 minutes drive away. Specialises in fresh fish. You will need to book for the evening. Excellent Sunday lunch.
