If you want some good old Texas BBQ. This is the spot. There is one in McKinney and Frisco. Both are pretty good and same travel distance.

Great Texas Barbecue This Frisco offshoot of the McKinney original offers the beloved barbecue first served by founder Roy Hutchins in 1978, and the draws here are the well-marbled brisket and ribs smoked over pecan wood and served alongside the restaurant’s signature sauce. Meats come by the pound alone or with sides, or piled high on a sandwich bun, and complimentary cobbler and banana pudding round out every meal.

The best bbq in McKinney! they even have a drive through. Order your barbecue by the pound and choose your favorite Texas sides. Hutchins is a family favorite.
