Long stretch of beautiful sandy beach. Great place for hunting shells, fossils and sharks teeth. They offer night time sea turtle walks during the egg laying season. It is a guided walk. I have done this with my kids and it was very memorable. We saw several of these magnificent creatures in the process of laying. The park has walking trails and on the island side you will find wildlife viewing areas.

Easy Himingor biming thru nature trails, a nice picnic alongside Bay Creek, take pictures, bird watch and generally cooldown as itsat least 10* cooler offthe beach.

1-1.5 hour drive, but one of the quieter beaches if you want a day of relaxing in the sun

Edisto Beach State Park features trails for hiking and biking that provide a wonderful tour of the park. The park’s environmental education center is a “green” building with exhibits that highlight the natural history of Edisto Island and the surrounding ACE Basin.
