Great place to walk and eat and explore. Nestling around the foot of the Acropolis, it winds its way from the area of the new Acropolis Museum to the Ancient Agora and reveals treats and treasures in its many streets and alleyways. The section is touristy and bustling with activity.

Plaka is the oldest section of Athens. Located in the shadow of the Acropolis it seems almost a world away from the urbanism of the city. Souvenirs, jewellery stores, restaurant and cafes run about in the area.
