Albert Centre Market & Food Centre is at 270 Queen Street but it obviously takes its name from Albert Street, which was named in the 1800s in honour of Prince Albert, the consort of Queen Victoria of England. There is nothing regal about Albert Centre today but Albert Food Centre is a great place in the city to eat like a true blue Singaporean.

Singaporean hawker food. There are plenty of hawkers stalls here and you'll be spoilt for choice! Definitely a must if you want to experience local food the local way!
