This is a firm favourite for great pub food. Everything you'd expect from Brunning and Price quality. Loved by locals just for a drink as well as for lunches, dinners and special events.

The George & Dragon is a restaurant and pub in the medieval cinque port town of Sandwich in Kent. The inn was originally built in the 24th year of the 1st reign of Henry VI, in 1446. Pub and restaurant with classic decor and a menu of inventive modern global cuisine, plus real ales.

Recently taken over by the owners of the Zetland Arms, lovely pub, super atmosphere and great food.

Pub near the river with food available. Friendly staff and good selection of drinks.

The nearest pub, good local atmosphere. Usual to have 4 real ales on. Excellent food – but usually very popular, so book in advance.
