Vítkov Monument in the memory of the battle in 1420, is situated on the top of Vítkov Hill. There is a nice view of Prague from its roof. You can also visit the Café Vítkov on the top of the Monument. The huge statue of Jan Žižka is the 3rd biggest equestrian statue in the world. It weights 16.5 tons and its height is 9 metres.
National Monument - built on a Vitkov hill dominates the surrounding neighborhoods of Zizkov and Karlin. There is a short exhibition about modern Czech history (starting in 1918). You can also get to the roof for really great views on the center and neighborhood, have a coffee there or visit another exhibition devoted to our first communistic president (the ultimate asshole), that was exhibited here in mummified for the same way as Lenin was. Potentially a great place to see when taking a walk around Zizkov neighborhood.

Take the path behind Lidl and cross over the bridge into Vitkov Park. At the end of the park is the National Memorial. Entrance to the cafe at the top of the museum is free!
