An amazing park with gorgeous views! Climb and play on the rocks depending on how high the water level of Lake Michigan is. See the rock formations and hike the trails. Drive down the road a bit to Whitefish Dunes with a great sand beach and room to play. Distance: 49 miles

Rocky cave shoreline along Lake Michigan. Keep a careful watch of young children here. Absolutely beautiful, and a must see!

Just south of Jacksonport this park is amazing. Peninsula Kayak Company in Jacksonport gives kayak tours and if water levels allow you can kayak into the caves. A favorite with divers looking for shipwrecks. Great trails and look out spots. There’s a place where you can leap off the cliff into the water!!!

Just a 1.5 mile bike ride away, or 10 minute drive from the Sand Beach Cottage: Ideal for all ages is a hikel along the cliffs of Cave Point. Or better yet, rent/bring kayaks for an up-close view of the caves (ideally aged 15+ only).
