Featuring one of the last remaining examples of Atlantic Rainforest, these grounds preserve and protect Brazil’s western coastal environment. Jardim Botanico is a quiet and a little empty park around some areas. Lovely option for a picnic with the family or just walk or run around. There is some botanical expositions. Kind of interesting. Just a little bit far from SP main areas. There is a restaurant in the park offering a good food(not luxury) for an affordable prices.

Lindo parque com palmeiras centenárias plantadas pelo imperador D. Pedro II. Onde está a nascente do Rio Ipiranga famoso pelo Grito da Independência as margens do Rio Ipiranga. Quadro de Benedito Calixto que esta no acervo do Museu do Ipiranga. O parque possui um belo restaurante onde é possível alongar o passeio sem se preocupar com horários de refeições.
