Lovely downtown. Great shops for souvenirs, and lots of dinner and lunch spots. As well as a small lovely beach. We have been told the President of Portugal swims here every week. Can you spot him?

Cascais, known as the town of Kings and Fishermen. Pick the train at Cais do Sodré.

Cascais central beach - can get very crowded in summer. It is lovely, as are the surrounding beaches.
