The nearby village of Hollister is home to Vintage Paris, a great, cozy second-wave coffee house serving third-wave-quality coffee. (Note they cater to the nearby College of the Ozarks crowd, so they aren't open early but stay open late.)

Really cute local coffee shop. My favorite is the J. Cousteau half sweet coffee. Relaxed atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside. There is a great look-out point with incredible view of the damn on the other side of the road. Worth the short drive!
