Stunning beach, views of the red lighthouse. Excellent swimming, as the water is shallow and warms up. Lifeguards on duty during swim season.

When it's hot in the summer people head to Lake Superior's Shoreline. McCarty's Cove is a popular beach but there are so many accessable Beaches from Little Presque Isle just north of Marquette to South Beach just south and then there is Gitchigumee beach east of Marquette along Highway M28.

Is Marquette’s beach. Students and families hang out and enjoy the sun. Outside of summer, it’s a great place for a walk.
