Syracuse has two local breweries: Middle Ages and Empire. Empire Brew Pub, in Armory Square, offers a great menu in a lively atmosphere. They have a famous Sunday morning Jazz Brunch. Pretty sure it is always first-come-first-served, so arrive early if you want to avoid a wait! Great food, reasonable prices.

If you are looking for a microbrewery where you can also dine on locally sourced fare, Empire is the place to go! They have standard american cuisine as well as a few dishes with a west-coast twist. Their fish tacos are awesome!

Located in the heart of Armory Square, this place is your standard brewery with a good number of beers on tap. They also serve a decent selection of food including a good Sunday brunch.
