The place to go for smoked everything! Meats, fish, cheese served with salads and bread in rustic surroundings right on the water. Take your own alcohol, they will provide the glasses. Or buy the items and bring it back to eat at home. See board outside for opening hours.

Specializes in locally sourced fish, poultry and game. Open from March for the season. BYOB. Open during the day only. No booking policy except for 8 pax and above.

It's in a riverside location serving wonderful, simple smoked food at lunchtimes . Take your own wine/beer. Great place!

Maldon Smokehouse a traditional smokehouse with a modern twist serving seafood and charcuterie. Difficult to find (ask for directions) but when you do you’re rewarded with a riverside seat overlooking great wildlife, and only a ten minute walk from Maldon's historic centre

Hidden gem - not even all the locals know about this one. Located at the very end of a private residential track it hosts the best smoked seafood, cheese and meats. Take your own drink as it is not licensed, however they provide soft drinks and glassware. Great outdoor seating in the summer right along the river or cosy up in the snug for winter dining with heating.
