Simply to walk and enjoy all expo area that has undergone a renovation in 1992 for 500 anniversary of the discovery of America. This included the Acquario and Bigo with its panoramic lift. There are lots of bar and restaurant.

The Old Port of Genoa Italy (Porto Antico) has been transformed into a busy tourist centre. Visitors can stroll along the harbor and visit numerous museums and tourist attractions along the way.

Thanks to the rehabilitation made by the worldwide famous genoese architect Renzo Piano, today it's considered the "new Genova". There are the Aquarium, a ice skating rink (only in winter), an open concert arena (only in summer), the famous italian high quality food chain Eataly, the museum of the most ancient italian football team the Genoa Cricket and Football Club, the palace that used to host the oldest bank in the world Palazzo San Giorgio, the Galata Museo del Mare designed by the spanish architect Guillermo Vasquez Consuegra, the ship of the Roman Polanski's Peter Pan movie and other attractions.

Antique port of Genova with lots of amazing restaurants and pubs next to the water. Nice place to hangout in the evening. Amazing vibe at night with live concerts specially during summer

A stroll around the porto antico is mandatory when visiting Genova :) only 5/10 minutes walk from home, enjoy a beautiful view of the city from the sea. If the Aquarium is not enough for you, from here leave daily boats and tours for whale and dolphin watching !
